eBerry was established in 2016 as a subsidiary of the Nordic Choice Hospitality Group with the mission to transform the digital landscape for how our guests travel, book their stay and interact with us. As a Senior Android developer, you belong to our diverse and cross-functional app team of 7, including iOS, Android, UX, test and PO. The work includes designing features from scratch like remoting the TV in hotel rooms, IoT-solutions like mobile keys and Beacons, creating interfaces with off-the-shelf and proprietary systems, writing unit and UI tests and more.

Here, you will live and breathe Kotlin but also work with MVVM architecture, RxJava, Dependency Injection with Dagger, Architectural Components (using LiveData and Room). You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle from its conception until it gets to the hands of the user, which includes new product ideas, app architecture, testing, UI design/Implementation and app performance monitoring.

We are looking for a skilled Android developer who shares our passion for learning new stuff and cutting-edge technology. In order to take on this role, you probably need at least 3 years of experience working with the Android platform using Kotlin. We also believe that you are familiar with Android Architecture Components framework, RxJava, Continous Integration and Unit and UI Testing. However, what’s most important is that you value teamwork, problem-solving, are eager to learn, and that you enjoy finding and discussing the simplest and cleanest solutions with your colleagues.
